It isn't too bad, but I don't think it's really inspired. The colour scheme is nice, and I like the font choices as well. They goldenrod is very striking as a primary colour, but it seems isolated - there are no other colours on the page beyond it! That's a fine design choice, it feels spartan and clean, but I think you should experiment with adding another colour somewhere to see what comes of it.

The layout of the thumbnails is nice - the broad splash on the top with the offset thumbs below creates a nice effect. It looks like it will be quite easy to navigate, which is very important for a website.

So yes, it looks good, but I wouldn't call it inspired I'm afraid. It conveys the information with a minimum of fuss and with a clean, good looking interface, though, which is likely what your client is looking for!
